Music - Xia Tian De Feng, by Landy Wen

This may well be my only post for all of December. But now that I've said that, I'm liable to update again before the year is out. Waha, how awful of me.

School for me is really over. At least, my career at NYU is. Right now I'm deciding where to go next. There are a lot of options, all of which seem half-fulfilling. It's tough to decide between things that are ingredients to a promising career versus things that make you happy at the moment. It's tough.

I know my birthday is coming up, and a lot of people are asking for gift ideas. I've received a ton of chocolate for the holiday season, so to prevent any more fattening gifts on my birthday, people please, chocolate season is over for me. Thanks. However, I do have a list of things that would be useful or nice to have. Don't feel obligated or limited by this list. This list is in no particular order.

  • headphones. The white ones that came with my iPod are busted in the left earpiece. It's a bummer to hear well in the right ear but hear tinny music in the left ear.
  • a Vitamin Water bottle. Not just any bottle. I'm searching for the peach-carnitine brown bottle. It's the only one missing from my sister's collection of the colored bottles.
  • jeans. I don't have all that many now.
  • soakers. The terry cloth soakers for my skates are so worn out, it's kinda pathetic. I definitely need a new pair.
  • socks. I love interesting socks. Especially socks that have cherry print, oh my.
  • episodes of Sheep in the Big City. Nobody thinks this show was hilarious except June and me. Trust me. It's hilarious.
  • law & order original series DVD box set. There must be 239047230 episodes of the original series. No one person can afford to buy them all.
  • Garden State DVD or soundtrack. What a super movie. I still can't get over it.
  • interesting hair accessories. I'm always on the lookout for something special.
  • CD's, DVD's, or children's books in Chinese or French. They're super helpful for practicing language skills
  • some good books. It's always good to read something a little different from the news and textbooks.
