Music - Hitomi Wo Tojite by Ken Hirai

Man, I'm really slacking. It's already February and I hardly updated. After I get home from work, I just don't feel the motivation to update, you know? Anyway, here's what's been up (if I still have readers).

The Something Corporate concert was brilliant. Tina was right. They sound even better live than on CD, which is a rare thing. June and I got there late because of terrible traffic on the GSP, so when we got in it was already packed. Still, that didn't stop us from hop, mosh, push, squeezing to the front. The only downer was this gaggle of 3-4 high school girls who got upset that there was pushing. She took it out by pushing me and telling me to back off since she "was there first." Please. If you don't like pushing, go stand in the back. For goodness sakes you're in the second row. There's going to be pushing. Dur. But other than that, the concert was great. A sweaty loud violent terrible great mess.

I just glanced back at my last entry and it says I was about to start with the Skating School. Geez, that seems like a long time ago. It just goes to say how seldom I update =( Doing a bit of office work for Skating School has been rather uneventful. Some parents get all uptight about their kids, but I guess that's a given. Oh well.

My friend Max let me borrow a few of his books. So far I've taken a look at this book of comic strips called Mafalda. Here's a picture of the main character:

Isn't she adorable? I love the way, when you look at her from the side, her profile and her hair make the same shape. She's hilarious. I did a quick search online and it seems most of the comics are found in Spanish. So this one's for you, my Spanish speakers/readers (if any).
