About this layout

This layout features the pilot candidate Hiead Gner from Candidate for Goddess. I thought he was beautiful (much better looking than the main character, Zero) and I felt like making a layout of him. It didn't turn out great, but it's functional. So here it is. It is safe in 800x600 resolution or larger.

How to use this layout

This layout uses tables. It's expands foreeever, so there's no problem with space. It's pretty easy to use and the html code has comments in it showing you what to do. After you download the zip file and unzip it with a program like Winzip, you should find these 10 files.

  • bar.gif - this is for the headings
  • index.html - this is the main page
  • end.jpg - this is the bottom of the table
  • filler.jpg - this is the background
  • header.jpg - this is the top of the image
  • hiead.jpg - this is the image on the left
  • linkup.jpg - this is the "mouseout" image
  • linkdown.jpg - this is the "mouseover" image
  • style.css - this is the stylesheet
  • 88x31.gif - this is the link button

If you want to change the title, just open up header.jpg in an image editor. If you want to change fonts, font colors, font sizes, and scrollbar colors, it's in style.css

You'll want to change the links too. They're in index.html. The section where you should change the links is labeled. Each link should say "#". Put your link where the pound sign ( # ) is

When you start making additional pages for this layout, just copy everything in index.html and paste it into a new html document. Then you change the content to whatever you want on that page. So easy! If you need more help, email me at tsunami@ngsters.com

Credits

This layout is linkware, which means that you do not have permission to use it unless you link to the creator (me). I already included a credit at the bottom. If you remove it, please link to me somewhere else. We can all be honest enough to give credit where it's due, right?

The font used in the title is called Circuit and it's from the best place for fonts, dafont.com. The image is originally from the anime gallery of akira.ru.

When you finish getting your website up, I'd love it if you contact me at tsunami@ngsters.com to tell me your url. It'd be nice to see how this turned out. ///.^
